I used this great frosting recipe I found with lemon zest in it. (It doesn't make for a very smooth cake). Oh well, live and learn.

How fun!! I hope she had a nice day. I remember when she and Gunner were just babies and you were living at your in-laws!! Just wait until she turns 12-that really makes you feel old! My Nicole is going into mutual in 3 months! SCARY!!!

Cute cake! And, you are old enough to have a nine year old and oh wait, old enough to have a 12 year old too! Yesterday I became old enough to have a 14 year old! That is old.

I thought your oldest was around 12 but I was thinking Allison was your oldest!! I'm an idiot! I don't know about you but having a 12 year old really makes me feel old. It seems like yesterday we were at Poston!! Crazy
