That Time Again

Last year I didn't get around to it, but it's that time again, and I am ready - to plant a garden!!

For those of you that live in the southwest... it's time to start now. Manure those garden beds and get ready!

As soon as the temps leave the 100's, you can plant. I know it's feels like it will never do that, but fall will be here before you know it! So what are you waiting for?

I'm so jealous, we finally move into a house at the END of garden season (sigh), maybe in the spring.

All the good stuff - Broccoli, carrots, lettuce, beans, chard, onions, etc. This is the prime growing season in AZ!

Plant some for us and I'll come get it - I stink at gardening. Brad wants a garden but I know if it is me doing it - it will all die!

I was SO going to do a garden up here this summer and then somehow it just never happened! Luckily my neighbor did and we benefited from her harvest! So what are you planting this year?

Can you grow tomato in AZ? My favorite by far is a lemon boy. It is a yellow tomato with a sweet rather than acidic taste. My mom grew these and I keep driving up to steal them out of her garden. YUM!!!
