Cookie Tricks!

Everyone has been asking me, "How do you make the silhouettes on the cookies?"   Alright - here's my secret.  I pipe them first, and when they are dry I just pick them up, and place them onto the frosted cookie.  We cranked out another hundred of those babies today.  Hope you're hungry!

I am amazed that you piped them all by hand. What a wonderful labor of love for a great cause!

That is amazing- you are an artist!
Did you really do those all freehand? I still don't understand how you can pick those thin silhouettes up. Great work.

Yes, but HOW do you pipe them? How do you make the pattern to pipe? Oh, please do let us know. Thank you! And thank you for the hours and hours of time and energy on Stephanie and Christians behalf!

I bought both cookies at the concert last week & they were so good as well as amazingly decorated. She had an eyelash in her profile...such phenomenal detail! Is it royal icing you used for the silhouettes? I would love to meet you and talk "cake" sometime!
