Today we enjoyed the sights at the Wharf and Pier 39. We had clam chowder in a sour dough bread bowl for lunch, Ghirardelli's chocolate for dessert, and sour dough pizza for dinner.
Around 10 pm this evening, Jeff and I got to enjoy all this lovely food yet again via our son Nathan. The children were all asleep, Jeff and I begin to doze off, when all of the sudden - BAM!! You guessed it. Throw up all over the bed, the bed spread, the floor, the pj's, the chair, and the sink in the bathroom.
I don't think I will ever enjoy another bowl of chowder again - really.
- Flight for 5 with frequent flyer miles - $50 in security fees
- Nice hotel room on fisherman's wharf - $150 a night
- Tossing the vomit stained sheets into the hallway to be hauled away by housekeeping, who then came and re-maid the beds with clean sheets and blankets - priceless

I swear it happens every time we go to california!!
Hope he's better soon!
Hey Melissa, I haven't heard from you so i thought i would leave you a message on your blog!! Just wanted to let you in on some final details! The boutique is approaching soon…for me anyways…so I just wanted to confirm all that are coming and that you have received your invites that I have mailed to you! If you are having a table in the open house/boutique please provide your own table and chairs to sit on. You don’t have to do this, but could you try to make your display as holiday-ish as possible? The more christmasy feeling the better! If you could arrive about 15 – 20 min early in order to get set up and ready on time that would be awesome. That way I can get you organized into your positions in the house! Thank you for your participation in this! I hope to make this a semi annual thing, so we can have a fall and spring boutique! If there are any questions please let me know!

ohhh so not fun!
Was he sick, or just that one time and then good to go?
So, how was the surprise?
I cant wait to see pictures!
NOOOO! We have the same luck! It must run in the family! We just crashed Shari's camp site and Tate had the runs...I brought his poopy shorts home to wash for shari. She's a trooper. So are you! Great memories. Did I ever tell you about the time we took Luke to Mexico with us and he rolled off the bed in the middle of the night and cut his eye brow open on the dresser? It bled like no other. He needed stitched but I didn't want to go to a hospital in Mexico so I took a band aid and taped it shut! Bahhhhh! Hope Nathan is feeling better tomorrow!
Where's rusty when you need him? Sorry, I couldn't resist!
Yes! Finally!! Im not the only one with this problem...Yuck!! So sorry!!
So sorry for ya! We had that happen on a road trip one year in the middle of Wyoming. All I can say was I was so glad to have had a big bowl in the car (just in case of course). Zach had eaten my leftover Chipotle salad, a Wendy's chili and a box of Hot Tamales. Let's just say Hot Tamales USED TO BE my favorite candy, but no longer.
Sorry barf happened on your trip and that chowder will never be the same for you guys.
Hope you enjoyed SF. That is our old stomping grounds and I miss it (but I like living here better).
"Priceress!?" Am I the only one to recognize that that is no typo! (Laughing despite myself.)
As for the vomit: Now I don't feel so bad about our CA pukefest. Sorry about that.
And I LOVE chowder in the bread bowl on the pier. Oh, I wish I was there. And I am not going to let myself picture Nathan's upchuck when I eat it. No I won't. Will not. No way. Crap.
How miserable!
Hope you found a way to have fun despite the trauma.
