The cake is LOVELY. I think you could do this cake any time of year, though. White daisies go with anything, don't they? Think of the possibilities: orange and white for the fall, red and white for the holidays, black and white for over-the-hill birthdays . . .

Oh, I love it! Daisies are my favorite flower as well. I had a daisy bouquet and daisy centerpieces at my wedding. As Meg Ryan says in YOU'VE GOT MAIL, "Daisies are the friendliest flower." I might have to hire you to make this cake just in honor of the daisy!
